Throughout the year, the Veterans Network Committee hosts a variety of programming events that allow us to honor those who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice. Below, you will find information about our Flag Program, Field of the Fallen, and Vets for Vets Disc Golf event.

Field of the Fallen

Every Memorial Day weekend in Cary, IL, dedicated volunteers transform an empty field into a sea of flags with great pride and meticulous attention to detail. Each flag is a tribute to servicemembers from Illinois who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms from the beginning of the Gulf conflict to present.

Field of the Fallen Pictures

Flagpole Program

Our mission is to honor those who have served by installing a flagpole at their residence at no cost, along with a formal flag-raising ceremony in their honor. This program, in partnership with Crystal Lake Home Depot, is available to homeowners within a 15-mile radius of the store.

Vets for Vets Disc Golf

Veterans have had to experience conditions much worse than some tricky winter weather. This annual winter fundraising event allows the ever growing disc golf community to give back to those that have served our country.
